Asinine. Wouldn't "Eng" stand for engineering, isn't ENGINEERING globally a larger category, a larger entity than "England"? Learn what hierarchy means please. If 2000 root domain "names" are at the "top" then it's no longer "top" now is it. Get an education.

Engineers would want to use .ENG to represent engineering. I see confusion. It's way easier to spell .ENG than .ENGINEERING

I fully support this move especially in the light of possible Scottish independence. However, we should support this move wether Scotland becomes independent or not. I shall certainly promote it as much as possible through the social media networks I use like Twitter. (I use @UnderEnglishOak).
